...was born on a harsh winterday in Malmö-Sweden in early ´01. Johan Petersson was about to put a and to his metalcarrier because lack of inspiration and to focus more on other projects.

- One day I just sat there in the studio, looked at the guitar and thought about making some metalsongs, says Johan.
I wanted to do somthing I´ve never done before. Plain thrash metal...
- The first songs I wrote was more kind of "old school thrash" and
monotonous. But it was there... Becouse I did exactly what I wanted to do.
I wrote five songs under one month and played them later for my friends. And
they liked them...
-At this stage I saw THE GLADIATOR as a one-man studioproject. After some time I wanted to raise the level of my self-criticism and put some more into THE GLADIATOR.

So i asked the guitarist Davor Tepic to join the band. He joined with no doubt and five new fresh songs were composed during the summer of ´01.

Under that period a lot of decisions were made. I decided to play bass instead of drums. So i asked drummer Bartek Nalezinski and my old bandmate the guitarist Hans Danielsen to join the band.

Both
joined and they were given tapes of the songs. Later that year we started
to rehearse together without any vocalist until Hans came up with the idea
to ask Robert Ahrling.
We had heard Rob´s vox before and knew what he was capable of. We asked
him and he joined.

November ´02 we dived into Mystical Arts Studios to record our first demo with the title "DEMO 2002". Three songs and one intro got caught on a CD and was greeted with warmth by many people.
Our first review was by Close-Up Magazine from Sweden, and they rated us the best nordic demoband. This of course gave us a major kick!!
In 2004 the band records a promotional mini cd. Containing the first "2002" demo and two new songs, recorded at Flat Pig Studios. The Promo is entitled Point Of No Return...
After a song on that Cd. This would later prove to be the title of the debut album too.

2005.
Hans
decides to leave the band. Both personal and creative issues made him do this.
A replacement is found in an old friend to Hans and the band, Bruno Buneck.

And with this new line-up the band rushes into Flat Pig Studios to record their debut CD, that is to be realeased on RAHW Productions.
Stay tuned...
